Hey everyone how is your Christmas going? I am having a wonderful Christmas. In a bit we r going to have a birthday party for Smug who is turning Sweet 16, Keanu who is turning 14, Noon (her b-day is not until the 21st of Jan. but we celebrate early cause we usually do not see her then) who turns the big 18. And we r also celebrating Bran's graduation from Naval bootcamp. So our day and night is filled. I had been cooking all day and all day yesterday but it is worth it when u see everyone enjoying themselves. Also today is the LORD's b-day. So Happy Birthday JESUS!!! And again Happy Christmas to all!!!
My Navy Seaman Recruit Glisan is finally home. Yippee!!! She came home on the 22nd. I flew into Chicago to see her graduate and let me tell u it was the most awesome graduation that i have ever seen. When they announced the graduating recruites (they did it by Divisions not by individuals) i was so excited. When they announced her Division 034 i screamed and yelled Brans name and clapped. She looked so great. I was crying cause i was so very proud of her. Finally liberty got called and i went over there and hugged her so hard and long. She introduced me to her friends and her RDC's. It was so cool. Did have a bit of a problem with Gary tho. He had asked me if i wanted to join them for lunch cause they were going to take Bran out and i was just going to meet Bran at the airport but Gary decided to invite me and then after he would take us to the airport. Well he said that he never said he would take me and Bran to the airport, which in reality he did. See u have to know something about Gary, he forgets things he says alot of times and this he did forget. Well anyway i guess Noon felt bad Bran did not know what was happening and i only brought enough moola for the shuttle one way. So here i am crying in a huge bind. Well Noon must have said something cause then Gary decides he will take us to the airport. I really did not want to go with him but i really had no choice so we went and all he did was drop us off hugged Bran and said see ya later. He did not even take her to lunch. So the whole thing kinda blew especially when i should have been the first to congratulate and hug Bran but guess who ended up doing that? Yes Gary's wifey. It may seem petty but to me it was not cause she does not even like Bran and she is not her mother. But i look at it this way, she came home with me and Gary and his childish ways got him zip. So i am pretty happy and she missed me as much as i missed her plus she always called me from boot and only wrote to Keanu. So i guess her dad was pretty jealous cause i was her P.O.C. I did tell him what was going on and she say she was going to write him but i guess she did not have time. Heck she hardly had time for anything but i did get about 5 phone calls from her. So i am a pretty happy camper. Bran looks great. So HIP HIP HOORAY! HIP HIP HOORAY! for Bran. If u want to see pics of her they r on Kernyens blog. Thanks for all the support u showed her. She really appreciated it. On the 2nd of Jan. she will be on her way back to Great Lakes, IL. Which is right back where she was but of course on a different area of the base. S So there u go with all the juicy 411.

As long as it is over on the 21st of this month but comes back on the 25th. Yes Christmas. I actually wish it would snow then. Well I am off and will talk to u all later...
Been doing alot of thinking about Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I cannot wait to see it again. Bran has not seen it and i know she will absolutely love it. It took her forever to read Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. When she was done she loved it and cryed over it as well as i did. But to tell u my thoughts on that, i believe that Albus Dumbledore is not dead and that Severus Snape is not a Death eater anymore that u or i. Something is going on and it ain't going to be pretty. So any thought on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks...
New things are a happening...Bran is finally in bootcamp. She graduates the 22nd of December. I can hardly wait until then cause i will be going to her graduation. Yes i am totally horrified to fly but for Bran i will do it. I am so proud of her so i will overcome the total panic fear of flying and see her graduate. For those who do not have her address, here it is but write as soon as possible or your letter will be returned cause she will not be there anymore. Here u go: SR Glisan, Brandyce M. We r still waiting on Brans reinduction into the Navy. Her new MOS is Aviation Maintenance Administration. It was Machinist Mate. Of course when she first swore in (about 6 mos. ago) that was all they had. The only plus to that was she would have gotten $7500.00 bonus. But then again who wants to be in the belly of a ship for a career in the Navy. Me it would not have been to bad but fer Bran she is too girlie fer that. Of course that is not a bad thing but I would not know too much about that cause I am such a tom-boy and seem to always be. Check out Keanu's blog, he finally updated. Bran had a problem with her recruiter and leaving 4 bootcamp on the 29th. So she needs a waiver and we do not know when she will be entering bootcamp. She was sooooo disappointed that when I seen her waiting at MEPS 4 us it was sad. She looked sooo tiny and miserable. But do not worry everything will be well. She is just now waiting. To tell u all she did pass her PFT (physical fitness test) and was on her way to recieveing E-2 when the blunder happened. She will still recieve everything she was told except for the bonuses because she changed her MOS. So 7 week bootcamp in Great Lakes, Ill and 2 months schooling in Pensacola, FL. She is as prepared as she can be. So like I said we r just waiting fer the dates. Later...
